I was born at some point during the mid-1980s, and what seems like five minutes later I started playing videogames. I never stopped, so I figured I'd write some words about them, mostly about my experiences playing the games that passed me by during my youth. If you're looking for up-to-the-minute gaming news, you're probably going to be disappointed. However, if you're looking for (occasionally) funny and (sometimes) interesting articles about videogames classic and obscure, then hopefully you'll enjoy yourself here. Certain themes tend to crop up more than others: side-scrolling beat-em-ups, horror-themed games, collections of remixes from various series, weirdness, that kind of thing. My personal favourite videogames are too numerous to list, but the creme de la creme consists (in no particular order) of Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Shining Force 2, God Hand, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Global Defense Force, Chrono Trigger, Blood and F-Zero GX.

There's also a VGJUNK Tumblr, which is full of box art, good fan art, pixel graphics, adverts, concept drawings and videogame music. You should check it out.

Contact: if you want to get in touch, the email address is vgjunk(at)hotmail.co.uk. Or, you can use the Tumblr Ask Box, if that's your bag. All emails and comments gratefully received!
